How long does it take to get a new driveway installation?

Initial Consultation: 1 to 2 days

Generally speaking, we can arrange to visit your property within a day or 2 of your call. Kilcroney Paving provide a free on-site inspection and consultation with Thomas, our experienced driveway expert. We will assess the soil conditions and current driveway, measure the driveway, discuss your preferences/options and answer all of your questions. We will then provide a free estimate for the job based on this consultation.

Driveway Excavation: 1 to 3 days

Using the latest equipment, our experienced team will excavate the site for the sub-base. The exact timeline of this process depends on a variety of factors including the size and depth of the driveway, the elevation, the digging method, the existing surface material and the weather. We will complete this stage while causing a minimum disruption and mess around your home.

Driveway Paving: 1 to 2 days

Once the driveway has been excavated, we will place the sub-base, smoothen it and compact it. This creates a solid foundation so that we can then begin the new driveway paving installation. Each driveway paving project is different, but generally speaking the timeline is 1 to 2 days to complete the job after the excavation and sub base as been complete. Kilcroney Paving are expert paving contractors with experience in all types of driveway paving from tarmac to resin driveways. We will often include a beautiful contrasting cobble border to add the finishing touches to your new driveway.

Initial Curing: 1 to 2 days

It’s important to note that the driveway material must be allowed to sit before it becomes fully usable. You will still have access to your home on foot, however we advise that you keep all vehicles off your new driveway for a day or 2. We will place warning tape around the new surface alerting visitors to keep off the driveway during this time.
